About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Head – Sales to lead and drive the overall sales function for a leading resort in Coimbatore. This leadership role focuses on accelerating revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong business relationships across corporate, travel, events, and group segments. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, leisure, weddings, travel trade, and group segments
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
- Drive occupancy and revenue growth through innovative initiatives
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews
- Foster a culture of accountability and high performance
- Train and develop team capabilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Acquire corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and key partners
- Build long-term relationships to ensure repeat business
- Conduct presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions
- Ensure excellent client experience and satisfaction
Branding, Marketing & Partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns and brand initiatives
- Represent the organization at exhibitions, tourism fairs, and networking events
- Build partnerships with Corporates, Travel agencies, and Influencers
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Oversee proposals, rate contracts, and agreements
- Monitor revenue performance and forecasting reports
- Maintain CRM accuracy and MIS reporting
- Provide insights for strategic decision-making
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Business
- 7–12 years of proven sales experience in hospitality/resort/hotel industry
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience in corporate/B2B and event sales
- Ability to achieve high revenue targets
