Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to handle classes up to higher secondary level. The candidate should be capable of delivering clear subject explanations, preparing lesson plans as per syllabus requirements, and guiding students toward strong academic performance.

The Biology Teacher will be responsible for conducting theory and practical sessions, preparing students for board examinations, and maintaining discipline inside the classroom. The role also involves preparing question papers, correcting answer sheets, maintaining academic records, and attending staff meetings and parent-teacher meetings when required.

The ideal candidate should encourage interactive learning, clarify doubts patiently, and support students in understanding complex biological concepts in a simple manner.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily and weekly lesson plans based on the prescribed syllabus

Teach Biology subjects for middle and higher secondary classes

Conduct laboratory practical sessions safely and effectively

Prepare assignments, worksheets, and question papers

Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback

Monitor student performance and maintain academic records

Guide students for board exams and competitive exams (if applicable)

Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning environment

Participate in school events, meetings, and academic planning

Required Skills

Good classroom management skills

Ability to explain complex topics in simple language

Basic computer knowledge for preparing lesson materials

Ability to handle practical lab equipment safely
