Job Description (JD)

We are hiring Mechanical Design Engineers for our fabrication unit in Sulur, Coimbatore. Candidates will be responsible for preparing design drawings, coordinating with production teams, and supporting fabrication activities related to sheet metal and welding works.

Role: Design Engineer

Eligibility:

Diploma / BE – Mechanical Engineering

Freshers can apply

Minimum 2 years experience as Supervisor in Mechanical Fabrication Company (preferred)

Experience handling welders and sheet metal operations is an added advantage

Any Graduate with Trainee Experience can also apply

Skills Required:

AutoCAD

SolidWorks

Basic knowledge of mechanical fabrication

Understanding of sheet metal drawings

Supervision skills

Team coordination

Problem-solving ability

Time management

Communication skills

Nature of Work:

Prepare 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Modify and update fabrication drawings as required

Coordinate with welders and shop floor workers

Supervise sheet metal and fabrication processes

Ensure work is completed as per design specifications

Maintain production records and reports

Additional Requirements:

First preference for candidates within 5 KM radius of Sulur, Coimbatore

Candidates willing to stay in company accommodation can apply
