Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the finance team in preparing reports. The candidate should be able to handle accounts independently and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and records

Prepare and manage invoices, bills, and payments

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Maintain general ledger and update financial data

Assist in budgeting and forecasting

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements

Coordinate with auditors during audits

Monitor expenses and suggest cost-control measures

Job Description (JD)

Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software

Manage purchase and sales entries

Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings

Maintain payroll records if required

Verify financial documents and transactions

Support management with financial insights and reports

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles

Proficiency in Tally, Excel, or other accounting software

Good numerical and analytical skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Time management and organizational skills

Basic knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS)

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or relevant degree

Freshers with accounting knowledge can apply

Prior experience is an added advantage
