About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Relationship Manager – Sales to drive revenue by building and maintaining strategic partnerships with corporate clients and event planners. The role focuses on promoting the resort as a top destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and corporate retreats, while delivering excellent client service and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and acquire new corporate accounts through cold calling and networking
  • Conduct site visits and deliver persuasive sales presentations
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Explore new market segments for corporate growth

Account Management

  • Build long-term relationships with HR managers and corporate decision-makers
  • Negotiate contracts, corporate rates, and service agreements
  • Ensure client retention and repeat bookings
  • Provide personalized service and resolve client queries

MICE & Event Coordination

  • Promote and organize corporate conferences, seminars, and team-building events
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure flawless execution
  • Design customized corporate packages and staycation offers
  • Manage group booking logistics from inquiry to checkout

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends
  • Maintain CRM records and provide weekly sales activity reports
  • Represent the resort at trade shows and corporate networking events
  • Provide data-driven insights and feedback to management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of B2B/Corporate Sales experience (Hospitality preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • Strong professional network in South Indian cities (Madurai, Bangalore, Kochi, Tirupur, Erode, Salem)
