Job Description:

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in our company’s success by providing exceptional customer service and driving sales. Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:
   • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
   • Listen to customer needs and provide product recommendations and solutions.
   • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and professionally.
2. Sales:
   • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
   • Engage with customers to identify their needs and offer suitable products or services.
   • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
3. Store Maintenance:
   • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
   • Restock merchandise and ensure proper pricing and labeling.
   • Perform routine inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
4. Product Knowledge:
   • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
   • Attend product training sessions as required.
5. Cash Handling:
   • Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately.
   • Maintain cash register and reconcile sales transactions at the end of each shift.
6. Teamwork:
   • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive working environment.
   • Assist in training new employees when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications in retail/sales is a plus).
• Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
