Job Title: Tool Designer

Job Description: As a Tool Designer at , you will play a crucial role in designing and developing specialized tools and equipment to enhance our production processes and improve overall efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production personnel, and management, to ensure that our tooling solutions meet the highest quality and safety standards.


  1. Tool Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D tool designs using CAD software, considering functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Prototype Development: Develop prototypes and conduct feasibility studies to validate tooling concepts and designs.
  3. Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for tool construction based on factors such as strength, durability, and cost.
  4. Design Modifications: Continuously review and refine tool designs based on feedback from production teams and evolving project requirements.
  5. Cost Analysis: Analyze tooling costs and work on cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, production managers, and other stakeholders to ensure tooling designs align with project goals and specifications.
  7. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications.
  8. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that tools meet all safety and performance requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Tool Designer or a related role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
